POOL
Coral Ridge Country Club’s Junior Size Olympic Pool has been a fixture at Coral Ridge Country Club since 1964. Mrs. Jones was a swimmer in college and she is the reason Mr. Jones built the pool, ten years after he finished the golf course.
The pool is 25 yards long; it starts at 3 feet and dips to 11 feet at its deepest. There are six swim lanes, six starting blocks and the shallow end provides a great play area for kids as well as an instructional area for swimming lessons. Jo Ann Davies has been the Pool Director since 1989; over the years she has taught over 2,500 children and 45 adults how to swim, with the numbers still climbing!
